‘17 Honda Civic, 700 mi QS UP 5w-30, 700 mi

As a part of investigation for tapping noise/knock my Civic developed, drained Quaker state 5w30 I had in the sump for roughly 725 miles. Figured someone might be interested to see how the additive package looks.

This oil report does not indicate any engine problems. Maybe the AC compressor, or something similar, is making noise?

UOA showed absolutely nothing in regards to engine noise (potential mechanical wear going on)

All else looks normal. TBN could stay at 4.0 for another 4,000 miles for all we know.

Continue diagnosis another way. Testing the oil ain’t it this time.

probably. mine knocks sometimes when restarting when hot.
