Keeps engine clean.

Doesn't that have more to do with the add pack than the base oil?

Thanks mate, yes that makes sense.

The 5W20 sounds too light to me (and are hard to find here), while the 5W40 sounds a bit too much the other way. Most of the 5W40s here are top shelf full synthetics like the Shell Helix Ultra that is the FF in Ferraris.

Not too many 10W30s around, but Castrol make a Magnatec 10W30 (SN, A3/B4) that is easy to find and affordable.
We do have lots of 5W30, 10W40, 15W40 and 20W50 oils here, but a 10W30 makes more sense to me. Good idea, should pay more attention to this weight oil.

Great !! I have found my oil, now I just need to find the money for a new car.

Not really.

Conventionals tend to leave deposits once the add pack depletes, however when you change the oil the detergents clean up what the old oil left behind.
PAO doesn't leave deposits however it in itself doesn't clean up either.
POE's burn cleanly and clean up behind themselves.
