Got a Toyota, the manual for which clearly states "no more than 10% alcohol" in the fuel. Have we learned something since it was printed or do the beauties pushing this stuff just not care about those of us who keep their cars for a while?

You didn't mention which year Toyota you have, but don't be surprised if later on Toyota USA comes out with a statement that their vehicles are now back-spec'ed to use E15.

Whats to say that ALL gas is EVER going to be 15%?

I was under the impression that few places would convert over and most small places wouldnt carry it at all because of the extra tankage and pumps (kind of like not every place carries E85 or diesel).

Last I read there was serious concern that E15 would be more of a problem than E10 due to something about the growing percentage of alcohol provides different chemistry in the fuel lines.
This different chemistry means new problems for fuel pumps, fuel lines, and injectors.

I thought that all this would die down after this drought. I'm pretty sure that we have hit a breaking point for using corn in our gas tanks.

With a massive drought and rising corn prices, upping the ethanol to 15% seems totally logical
