Doesn't matter with wire backed media. The pleat spacing is awful on this "Premium" filter SMH.

Does to me & some others on this forum. Perhaps not to you though.Doesn't matter with wire backed media.
It only matters to the visual based "beauty pageant judges", lol. It has zero functional impact. With backed media it doesn't matter because there is no pleat movement and potential media tearing.Does to me & some others on this forum. Perhaps not to you though.
I expect more from Fram's premium filter, you don't. We should be able to express how we see poor filter quality w/o your derogatory name bashing on a regular basis when anyone says anything you don't agree with about Fram. Take your "Beauty Pageant" crap elsewhere! It only matters to the visual based "beauty pageant judges", lol. It has zero functional impact. There's a reason why those PG filters are taking the spot light, even when naked those pleats are just as pretty as a fresh Japanese girl in school uniform. Oil filter porn is safe for work.I go by more than "looks" on oil filters, and many other things in life, where "looks" really don't matter to functionality and performance. If people want to put looks over function, then by all means go for it as everyone has their own "requirements".![]()
Cut the factory Kohler oil filter and thought I found a fuel filter insideI'm certain it's been rigorously tested, however I cannot get comfortable with oil filters in these motors that are smaller than the spec filter for a 18 HP Kohler.
Awesome! Thank YouFinally got to filter after wicked dry. Some gritty carbon in pleats, some metal flecks here and there. Overall happy.
