out/off: 5 quarts HPL PCEO 5w-30 with Fram Endurance FE2

in/on: 5 quarts HPL PCEO 5w-30 with carquest premium.

looks okay, it’s wire backed but the media looks like it wanted to fold over. glad to be spinning a carquest premium on.

One of the best looking FE bypass piece seal areas I've seen recently. Might well have passed a flashlight test. Based on pics, I'd say it got the job done at a substantial 12k mile fci.

Thanks for c&p.

The pleats (even if widely spaced) on wire backed media would never fold over like seen on some non-backed media with wide pleat spacing. Leaf spring seating ring is super wide (and even smooth) compared to other Champ Lab examples. Date code is the 75th day of 2023 (Fram format).
