Thinking of a 10w50 for all the bikes in my signature, to keep it simple, and I ride them all year round, from 15 degrees to 105.

I know Honda has been specifying 10W30 in motorcycles for years now and I wouldn't use 10W50 in it if I owned it. Do what you want. I quit riding and my last bike was an Aprilia Shiver 750. It called for 15W50 and I used AGIP oil in it, an Italian oil only because it had a cool AGIP decal on the bike. That bike is rare in the U.S. and it sat at the dealer a few times waiting on parts from Italy for weeks during the riding season.

A 10W-50 might shear thin a lot, and might be a bit thin in hot weather for the Harley and Indian if they spec a 20W-50. I'd consider a 15W-50 for the air cooled bikes and a 10W-40 for the other two. A 15W will be just fine for cold starts at 15 F.

15-50 real synthetic motorcycle oil was my choice for riding in pa weather, years ago using 20-50 Amsoil did not crank fast enough to start my 08 Porkster with 40 some degrees in an unheated garage!! i just quit riding + looking to sell 3 nice bikes, a 19 triumph 900 scram, an 18 1200 bonneville + my fav a 2011 Vic hammer, all in great shape + run great!!
