too right I would...there's one available in OZ too, but it's an importer of Chinesium oils...wouldn't trust them.

I'd try a 10W20 in my Accord in a heartbeat. I wonder why they're not more widespread, especially in hot climates (like mine) where a car specs a 20 grade?

Per Honda papers, they are making very high VI in the 20s to reduce the friction during warmup operation.

Then they pushed for 16s, so they can have the same effect without all the plastic, the 16s bordering on monogrades.

A straight 30 syn probably meets that

Yeah, I know. Thus the "smiley." I'm thinking of switching to a FS 30w when my current stash of FS 10w30 is used up next spring.

I bet if you plotted A) past and future CAFE target datesand B)as the introduction dates of 20 and 16, you could extrapolate the date the major auto makers start recommending 0w-5 for the US market.

We could start a betting pool, or sell futures on the product.

Never trust an oil sold on the EBAY of China (alibaba) without the proper API Donut symbol. I doubt very much you will ever see any officially API approved oil (or any approved oil of any kind) sold on alibaba.
