It's a cartridge filter... there is no "can"

This filter actually looks like a good value for their basic line of filters.

Looks good. In my observation when comes to cartridge filters, fit in the housing a big factor. I can't recall seeing any issues with any cartridges used on Toyotas. This one no different in that respect. I guess once one gets past the, 'imo' Rube Goldbergian housing set up, it's all good. I too am curious about the coo of EG cartridge?
