Here’s another photo. Took him out in my field and he fought the shovel. Didn’t want my dogs getting to him or him get hit on the road.

He smelled rather foul. My tractor smelled like “turtle mud” for days.

*Everybody I showed it to said I should have picked him up by his tail. No.. that can damage their spine.

IIRC those are Blakesley nasal forceps. They appear to be the single use type, not for re-sterilizing. Usually single use ones are rougher and may say pakistan on one side. High quality ones would have a name like Jarit.
