I know that area very well...
I get anxiety thinking of I 95 and 695 etc.
People drive like absolute nuts.
Same here...also far too many freight trucks on the road. Crazy...

My dad hates I95 as you know he is a truck driver and he hates that interstate he tries to avoid it if at all possible. He also tries to avoid the capital beltway too.

Old people use to fear 95
As youngster I never got it
I had an AMG SUV almost hit me over 120 mph being chased by a Challenger.
Truck drivers will slap me but "retreads" I question their safety.
The whole 1000 mile trip the interstate is full of tire pieces...
Some in the middle of the road.
Not a few but 100's...
Nobody picks them up either.
301 used to be my road but urban sprawl killed that.
In the end people themselves are the blame.
On 70 mph roads I went the speed limit..70-73 mph on cruise.
With a 2L SUV in the headwinds you really cant do more than that.
In the slow lane they harass you as well. A bunch of nuts...
