Going Out of Business

I would love to have that old Dodge parked in my driveway today!
It’s amazing what you learn from just getting out and doing it. Good or bad, the best teacher is first hand experience. 👍
I broke the front axle on a W150 and got a used replacement off a Ramcharger like that with a cooked motor.
Looking back - wish I’d bought the whole SUV …

gillette.jpg

Gillette Castle, high above the CT River in the lower CT River Valley ; built as a private residence in the 19 teens by William Gillette a well know stage actor; The site used to have a narrow gauge railroad on it and the residence is known for its quirky nature; The river is about 50 in back of the castle, but maybe 150' down.....

Like Mystic Seaport/Aquarium, it is on the "Top 10 things to see" if you only have 10 things to see in CT

Camping park stickers; mom collects them. Other patches are from bomber squadrons as I love military patches past and present. 🇺🇸🇨🇦🍺🥃

Saw this ad posted at QT earlier this morning. Who is the marketing agency that named these" Al Capone". Must be a very profitable sale, as I can't imagine this is a high volume sale. Or maybe "Al Capone" rents the ad space from QT?

ANY advertising you see at a gas station, is Paid by the manufacturer.
our Tobacco rack is owned by Altria/Phillip Morris. the other brands rent space from them.
nothing is front and center by chance.
we have those.... sold maybe 2 packs in the last year... they used to be a 5 pk, used to be more popular.
now-a-days actual sales it's ~30% Marb. Lights, 30% Grizzly wintergreen Long cut, 10% Zyn pouches. leaving about 30% for all the other tobacco products.

(can you tell my station is near a college? we also sell a ton of busch light.)

our Tobacco rack is owned by Altria/Phillip Morris. that's why the headers are always marlboro. the other brands rent space from them.
