Out: Royal Purple at 148598 Purolator PureONE 3134 miles
In: Costco Kirkland Full Synthetic 5w-30 Purolator PureONE 10-8-21
First time ever to Run Royal Purple in the Corolla. Would have likely never run it but I just happened to run onto a closeout at Walmart $20 a Jug.
Going in Purple looked pretty sexy. But after 200 miles well the coloring was gone and it looked just like most other oils. So much for RP Porn.
I only ran this oil a little over 3100 miles. I had a nice day and decided to day was the day. I don't like changing oil in the driveway in the rain or snow. So until April I'll be running Costco's 5W-30 Kirkland brand Full Synthetic. I wasn't real thrilled with the spacing on the closing seam on the filter but there were no rips, no tares and no errors. This was an older Purolator with the round holes VS the louvers.
