Even 10,000 flat steps a day is a pretty impressive accomplishment. For most people it’s at least 90 minutes of walking! You can’t dismiss that achievement. Even if that’s their only means of exercise every day that’s going to keep them very healthy. My girlfriend’s dad gets over 10,000 steps a day and he is 77 years old!Steps for me are just a bonus to your regular daily workouts. Some steps have different meaning 10,000 stair climb or 10,000 flat walk huge difference.
