When did that happen, did they move recently without telling anyone?
Mexico has always been in the North American continent. Central America isn't a continent it's a subregion that's wholly encompassed within North America

Great post
They let these intellectuals vote, no wonder we are up the creek with no boat never mind a paddle. When I saw this posted on FB the other day, I surely thought it was a joke. Sadly, it wasn't.![]()

Really want to get loco, ask the average "joe" where Ecuador and Guatemala are....Mexico has always been in the North American continent. Central America isn't a continent it's a subregion that's wholly encompassed within North America
Yeah, but zero point eleven kilogrammer just doesn't roll off the tongue as easily. As a people, we are the dumbest in the world when it comes to Metric. Metric is the easiest thing to learn.
I have a stopwatch that times in decimal minutes or decimal hours (just shows X.XXX format of minutes instead of minutes +seconds)As a people, we are the dumbest in the world when it comes to Metric. Metric is the easiest thing to learn. If a person says he can’t learn Metric, what he really is saying is that he is too dumb to learn metric.
To illustrate, I have a Canadian friend who tells us dumb Americans that in Canada, they have “Metric Time”.
100 seconds to a minute.
100 minutes to an hour.
10 hours to a day.
You would be surprised how many of us dumb, stupid, lazy Americans believe him.
You can’t fix stupid.
I think in the past, autism was many times written off as an unruly and mentally challenged kid who danced to their own drummer's rhythms. Today they know better. What causes Autism then?
A friend's wife asked if we were driving to Hawaii...There are people that think Hawaii is in the Gulf of Mexico so this isn't too surprising.
1/3 vs 1/4... Four is a bigger number. More bigger, more betterer!
Dont forget about Alaska! There are people that think Hawaii is in the Gulf of Mexico so this isn't too surprising.

Years ago I worked in a modular housing factory. They built 12' x 24' modules that, when joined together, made different sized apartments. I was showing a new guy how to build the soffits for these units. I explained that you used an 8' length of soffit vent along with a 4' piece of vent that was cut from the full 8' length. After he showed me that he could put the soffit together, I left him alone while I did other things. When I returned, he had completed several soffits and I noticed that pieces of soffit vent were in the trash. I asked why he was throwing those away and he told me that those were too short to use-he needed 4' and those were only 48".
Speaking of Home Depot, I was there once and someone had marked the 2"x4" boards 2' X 4'. A two feet by 4 foot board would be super thick and heavy. And all for $2.I needed a board rough cut into four 30" long sections at the local Home Depot.
You can still get Beef Tallow at Wallyworld. Its a bit pricey but its like cooking with steak juice.Didn't fail because of consumer misconception of size, failed because McD used to have the most awesome lard based fries on the planet, along with brand strength.
If people used their brains they would realize that you usually make out with the metric system, no one would sell a 113 gram burger. LOLAs a people, we are the dumbest in the world when it comes to Metric. Metric is the easiest thing to learn. Ah, yes grass hoppa, but you realize if he did that, the first board will be perfect. The 2nd board will be short the with of a saw cut. The third board and fourth boards will also be short the width of saw cut. A better way is the add 1/16 or 1/8 “ for each board depending on the width of the carbide insert on the blade, or else use board #1 as a template make each cut and use the template board again. Of course maybe it’s not a piano you were building.I needed a board rough cut into four 30" long sections at the local Home Depot. The young guy "helping" me takes out his tape measure, hooks it to the end of the board, measures out to 30" and marks a line. Perfect. He lets the tape measure slide back in, and then realizes he can't hook the tape measure to the line he's just drawn. He stood there completely dumbfounded. I tell him, "All you need to do is hook it back to the end of the board and measure out to 60 inches." A slow realization crosses his face. "Then 90." A smile...he got it.
Sometimes you just need a jump start![]()

You both raise a fair enough point, but as I recall he couldn't measure *or* cut. I ended up with boards ~29.75", ~30.25" - you get the point. I wasn't going to tackle the concept of saw blade thickness with this fella.but he needs to add the saw blade thickness each time.
