You are correct and I would love to have more SO.
I guess at this point in my life working with family and friends to help with college and $$ issues is important and makes me happy.
I have learned to make every penny count; it pays off in the long run.

Right now a friend (single Dad) is coming over; we will service his TSX engine, trans, PS and brake fluid.

I love this stuff.

Not bad, although I would want 27, 30, & 32mm too.

Might can find them a touch cheaper at zoro with coupon, but that set should serve you well. It is Taiwan made, if that matters.

True for any impact socket, If you don't use them everyday.....A quality set can last a lifetime.

I use 1/2" impacts more than most mechanics.....Do 98% of all teardown work with them.

Your guidance is much appreciated and respected.

I neglected to mention I do have assorted larger impact sockets which the shop used for axle nuts, etc.
Hopefully the set I ordered will suffice.

I consider myself fortunate to have inherited such a high-end set of hand tools.
A large Snap On roll away and a smaller one.
Perhaps my late brother's favorite tool was the 250# Bonney Torque Wrench.
It will come in handy torquing the Tesla lug nuts (129 # feet).
Of course he loved his engine building tools.
He was known for his older Porsche engine rebuilding skills including the 4 cylinder 912 models.

Thanks Trav. I used this to order a Hazet 2172 oil filter wrench. Expensive but hopefully worth it.

I've had a Hazet 1/2'' socket set for 42 years, everyday professional use. I still have 2 ratchets and the powerbar, all broken and repaired, but have replaced them for everyday use. I have broken only the 30mm socket....and sometime 20 years or so ago I found my 17mm was now a Stahlwille, which broke, and was replaced by Stahlwille. German tools, there is nothing better.

You wont be disappointed with Hazet tools, I have some that are well over 35 years old and still going strong. I did get a 3/8 Williams (USA) socket set which are also nice. My 1/2" is Hazet and the allen sockets are Hazet and Stahlwille.
If you work on Euro cars a lot a set of 1/4 drive half cut stubby XZN, Torx and Allen sockets is a must have. I have been satisfied with those from VIM.
