0w40 esso xd-3

Hello eveyone,
I have always used xd-3 esso 0w30 but now at the distributor they are backorder. So i used 0w40 for my small 1.5liters 1993 civic. I would like to know if they have bad effect of using thicker oil except bad fuel economy. Also what are the safe oil intervall with this oil

You should be fine. Do you have the d15b7 or vtec 1.6?

i got the d15b7, small engine without any power but very economic.
