0W20 vs 0W30

My beloved Quaker State Full Synthetic 10w30 is API SP-RC on the Donut and ILSAC GF-6A.

it also has a pour point of -65F

It's special sauce. A special gift from Shell. Guaranteed to hunt and kill most other ILSAC 5w30.

so is the 10w30 from QS acting like a 0w30?

It cant. But you think with a -54 °C pour point It would be good for some -20 °C starts.

But pour point is not MRV or CCS.

QS FS 10w30 CCS is reported as a typical 4130 cP at -25 °C

Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5w30 CCS is reported (by PQIA) as a sample of 1 as 4930 at -30 °C

I could not find a direct comparable.

And I think @OVERKILL suspicion is correct that the stated pp number form the pds is a big out right liar ... I me outlier
