Well, I will probably say the same thing than you: Love the CVT (make me not want to go back to stick, and that means a lot from me), love the fuel economy and the interior.

As contrary as your wife, I am light footed, but I should force myself to push it a little bit more from time to time (I still put everybody in snow dust at dead starts). Since it is quite torquey, it is a lot of fun to do that.
Not a single glitch, runs like new, almost smell like new (but only about 22.000 miles on it as it is garaged now days thanks to public transportation to go to work).

If I have to redo it, I would buy an AWD (thought the nissan AWD system was bogus like the one from the other manufacturers but it seems to be way better, a real realtime system), but even in FWD, the car is fun to drive in snow, just understeer a little bit too much (I need a handbrake!!): I need to play with tire pressure to improve that a bit.

Not so much rattle at low speed (on really rare occasions) but yes, I will do the recall soon as it seems to improve the car a lot, bringing maybe even more fuel economy at highway speed (still waiting for some more feedbacks).

My UOAs bring also quite some Si, and I don't think it is from the Air Filter (Yes, it is the only one good available), seems to be the nature of this engine. Great UOAs that you have, thanks for sharing. I am running on PP and have good results too.

Love the car, I will probably keep it for a long time too.

Looks good considering the fuel. I agree with other comments, ditch the LC. Schaeffer's is a great oil and doesn't need anything added to it, plus it's nice to see how a oil does on its own. Hard to say how LC affected it, but I imagine the fuel level hurt the TBN.

Looking forward to the next UOA.

That is a lot of LC....I have not seen anyone use that much routinely since before it was repackaged with the new treatment dosage instructions.

I have to ask how that much LC20 used routinely and the cost of the Schaffers if you have to mail order it works out as a good deal?

Would not Redline 5W30 do much the same with out the need for Lube COntrol?

Have you tried synthetic in it? M1 0W40 comes to mind. At $6 a quart at Walmart and a nice filter maybe K&N oil filter or Donaldson Stratapore or PureOne etc........

It just seems rather old school to have to use that much LC to keep things in check.

In fact if you started with M1 0W40 no initial treament would be needed to the oil and you could probably get by with 2 onces every 1000 miles if you needed the LC20 at all as a regular addition.

I would go the other way: 5W20 or 0W20.
A thing to know about the Rogue: Even if Nissan asks for 5W30 oil, the factory fill is 5W20 oil (synthetic one).
That is why I used to "mistakenly" (because I am still under warranty) mix a bottle of 5W20 PP with my 5W30 PP (and PP is on the lower part of the 5W30 range). It works great and I have less slapping noises on cold starts.

On the low viscosity, could the low vis be contributing to the excess fuel or vice versa. IMO, a higher HTHS should show less fuel in the CC due to better blowby control. Its cold in ME and that shows on the TBN retention. Its Hard in the Winter with low ambient temp to get small Al block engine sump to temp to PCV the water and fuel vapour out.
