Kirkland oil is le$$er expensive but not an inferior oil.
Toyota/Lexus make great engines. Does the RX450h actually need more expen$ive oil just because it's a Lexus?
I mean, the report looks good however, I agree with lowering the OCI. The Values look okay considering >9Kmile OCI
but the oil did shear out of grade.

Yes, you *could* drive more miles, especially based on ~1900 miles per month you've been driving. Depending on how much you enjoy oil changes, going 3x a year would give you 7500 miles per oil change. Personally, I'd feel better there than at 10k or 12k. Two oil changes a year would extend your oil changes to 11.4k. I think either would work, but 7.5k would be better for your engine.

I also had supertech shear a bit in my Lexus but it was still within spec. Yours went to a 5w20, but who cares, its a lexus and will run forever.

Drive a Lexus and buy cheap oil 😳🤔
It’s 17 years old, the only way I could afford a Lexus .
I got myself a Eunos Roadster for a summer daily driver, so the wife suggested something more family oriented for a winter / vacation car.
I wanted some kind of Toyota hybrid, everything I found in my price range like a Camry/ Prius had a bajillion miles or was in an accident.
This was at a local BMW dealer as a trade I guess, took it for a test drive and the wife fell in love and insisted I get it.
Almost 100% serviced by Lexus, didn’t get the dash cover recall done though. Lots of little dings in the body, the coating on the wheels is failing, but drives quiet and solid.

Change Kirkland oil every 5k and it should hold a 30 viscosity. It starts Virgin at 11 and should be low 9s at 5k

Only dilution changes will alter the ending viscosity and drop it into the 20s.

Otherwise, you could opt for HPL No VII oil. The virgin viscosity will hang around the used oil viscosity and may even increase the number, should you always run that engine for continous10k OCIs

Your dilution level will always tell you if the oil's thinning excessively. The least trusted Analysis home for that is Blackstone and that's just my opinion, based on how so many oil-talented BITOGERs constantly disagree with Blackstone readings.

Expected to fall into a 20 grade after a longer run like here. You can always reduce mileage a bit to stay within the 30 range or bump up to 40 oil for these longer runs if that's more convenient for you. I think the visc. did just fine though for the interval & price point of this oil. You are slightly above avg wear on Fe so perhaps trying 40 grade might help you there as well.

Dropping from a 30 to a 20 is certainly not a death sentence. But you will be on Death Row if you don't do diligence maintenance on your 2012-2020 Korean four banger engines.
