I own a 2007 Honda Civic SI and am looking for some recommendations on what oil/weight I should be using. For the past 3 years I have been using Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5w30. The car has 52,000 mi, daily driver. I also attend HPDE's and do autocross.

IMO, you will be doing OK, continuing to use the 5w30.

You DO realize that in North America Honda specified 5W-20. Going up one weight range will not hurt anything.

Trying to go any heavier might affect the Vtec solenoid operation.

Before you go to an HPDE or Autocross, just make sure the oil level is at the MAX of the operating range on the dipstick. You don't want your bearings to be starved of oil during hard cornering.

If it was my car, I'd not extend the OCIs. If your Civic has the Maintenance Minder I'd change the oil at about 25 - 35%.

Not for his '07 k-series Si motor.

True. The K24 engines can run on 5w20 but not the performance oriented, high revving K20's

I'd keep doing what you're doing Trevor. Mobil 1 Extended Performance offers the best protection you can get at a fairly cheap price, if you shop around properly.

I have done UOA of Mobil 1 Extended Performance from my 07 Si and it performed really well. keep up the good work, just make sure the oil level is topped off constantly. I keep mine basically touching the top full dot, at all times.

I Vtec all day every day though.
