06 Honda 5-speed Auto Trans & Timing belt

The motor oil is something I haven't looked into yet with this engine. I know for the first 100k it used dealer 5W-20 "Bulk oil" changed as per maintenance minder I'm sure. Then the second owner who drove it about 18k miles seemed to like Mobil 1 which is what's in there now.

Asking because some engines seem to like a specific brand/type of oil. Haven't had a chance to look at the UOAs here if any?

overall I don’t think these 3.0 J-Series are all that picky, if you want to run syn just grab whatever is on sale, but I bet it’ll go another 200k+ on ST dino changed at reasonable intervals. I get A01 filters in bulk from H and A Honda, with ML I’m changing it every 7500 or so, new filter each time.
