I had a little whine on my Mazda PS pump when cold. I flushed multiple times with Mercon V (It previously had DexIII/Mercon in it) and it seemed to make more noises. I flushed again back to fresh DexIII/Mercon and no more whine.
Could be i just needed some more fluishing, or could be it just needed thicker DexIII/Mercon, i'm not sure, but for whatever reason it seemed to work.
If you use Lubeguard Red (which i think is a decent product) i would stick with their recommendatioins of 1 oz per liter. So in your PS system that would be about 2 oz. at most.
I would not use Lubeguard Black or platinum in the PS system.
