'02 Honda VTX750 Shadow Ace back in service!

I'm putting my Honda Shadow ACE back in service after a 4 year break, haven't ridden since my 3rd child was born. So far, I've removed and cleaned the carbs, cleaned out the gas tank, replaced the battery, and somehow managed to get almost everything back together. I'm planning on changing the oil & filter, changing the coolant with the Honda stuff, and bleeding the brakes with DOT 4. Other than fixing the parts I've broken so far... , am I missing anything?

Oh, I've kept the chain lubed over the years, always hopeful!

How old are the tires?

Tires are 10 years old, I'm not doing tires myself, if I have to do tires I guess I should have the shop do the fork oil too, since you have to take off the front tire to do the fork oil on this bike, correct?

Not sure about the fork oil , but i would not ride on 10 year old tires that have not rolled in four years. If i was on 4 wheels, maybe slowly to the tire shop. But on 2 wheels, no way.

At least check the air cleaner.

Any blue, green or yellow coolant will work fine IF it's silicate free.

Any filter that fits a Honda Civic or Accord will fit a Shadow.
