Triple I am positive that it was SuperTech. I was doing some research on the temp issue and found that the temp usually runs above 195 and that the fan will not come on unitl it is 2 bars past 195. So I agree that it must be normal.

It must be a Fram as I bought it at Walmart when I bought the oil.

Another question now would be rust in the tank. When I looked at it she did not have the key with her so I could not look inside the tank. The fuel gauge showed 1/2. Am I garanteed to see rust when I open the tank?

Thanks to everyone who replied. I decided to go with Mobil 1 EP 5-30. I am using this oil in my 05 Elantra GT with good results. I am starting out using the walmart oil filter and will have an analysis done in 5000 miles.
