To answer the question, i would say at least once a month, for my 3 vehicles. I would like to know the process used to get a clearcoat re-applied, and as stated earlier, the cost involved?

Product wise i'm sure what to do. I would talk to someone in the glass business and get some input. I would try a sample piece first though. Good luck, as any pitting is a pain.

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum but here goes, has anyone used the pump that you stick a hose? into the dipstick too pump the oil out, instead of draining the oil out? If so, is it worth it? Thanks.

Given all the info. posted here,I would tend too think, that we left out part of the process in coming too a conclusion, driving conditions. Since most people that use this site, are pretty much in tune with their vehicle, they know what works best as far as oil and when too change these items...

I saw top of the line Castrols oil filters for 50 cents #3950. I have a 95 honda, would these be compatable? If some one is interested in these, drop a e-mail. Thanks

I stopped at a A+A auto parts store and saw oil filters marked Defense. I looked on the can for any information and on the bottom of the can i saw a web site marked www.fram.com. This is the first time i seen a can marked as such. I did'nt want too act too bizzare by dragging oil filters around...

Turbo Frog: I reported the same thing down here in south eastern PA. I picked up 4 Penske air filters for my 95 Accord at $1.24 a piece. They did,nt have my size Castrol oil filter, or i would,ve grabbed those. Get them while you can, as they will all be replaced by Fram.

Patman: Do you have numbers too go along with the oil filters? I had you in mind when i was looking, since i have an Accord and you a Civic, i think the two are identical, even though i have a 95 EX. If i can be of service, let me know.

Was at some of the local K-marts today and noticed Castrol oilfilters and Penske oil and air filters being offered cheap. Some oil filters started at 75 cents up too $2.00. Air filters by Penske started at $1.00. I got air filters for my 1995 Accord for a $1.24. Saw they are going with all Fram...

Ming, Will be curious too see the results when in. Thought about picking up the same product myself, and do what you are doing. My basic thoughts are that all oil must pass certain req. too be certified, even if the oil is cheap in price. Can't imagine going thru the process to sell a product...
