    Do any of the parts chain stores have a scan tool for ABS that they lend? My 2006 Grand Caravan (3.8, 245k miles) has a light that comes and goes. Off now but likely to reappear.

    I lost transmission fluid with my 2003 Taurus once because the vent tube was clogged. But it cam right out the dipstick tube so that might not be the source of your problem.

    I have a 2006 Grand Caravan with the 3.8 that has about 240,000 miles. I want to change the pcv to see if I can reduce oil consumption a bit. My memory of other pcv's is that they act like sort of a one-way check valve: allowing suction in one direction and no (or reduced) flow in the other...
