Question about Rotella T6 oil for my 84 300SD Mercedes

When I had my 300D I could not afford synthetic oil for it so I went with Delvac 15W40. These days, knowing what I've learned here on this forum, I'd try super tech 15W40.

What are you eating right now?

If you like to camp and also like a cup of hot coffee in the morning you might want to try out this Folgers product I located. It's not like a hot cup of Starbucks but it's pretty darn good when the temperature is 40° outside.

AitLift 1000 spring helpers - squeak help!

I put them on my Sienna a couple years ago. They used to squeak over bumps but now that I think about it I haven't noticed a squeak lately. I usually leave them pressurize between 5 and 10 PSI. And when I wash the vehicle I hose off the bags underneath the van.

What would cause phone to suddenly not detect SIM card??

So my wife's Galaxy s23 was fixed by Verizon today. They said the sim card was one of the original 5G versions and went bad. They activated the esim and now phone works fine. Tossed the old one. Apparently my Galaxy Z-Fold came with the esim activated.

What would cause phone to suddenly not detect SIM card??

This exact same thing happened to my wife's Android Galaxy S23 yesterday. I removed and cleaned the SIM card but it is still not detected by the phone. The actual warning we get on the phone is "SIM card not set up for this phone".

Any of you ever lose the "love" for your hobby?

I get more enjoyment reading about the work you guys do on your cars than I do actually doing it myself. PM has become tedious for me.

Discount Tire finally made it here to The American Outback!

Back in my college days ('75-'80) my girlfriend and I would go to Taco John's in Lawrence, Kansas. Last year while driving through Minnesota I saw a Taco Johns and just had to stop.
