I used one of these for 10k oci. When I cut it open I did not see any issues with it. Will use one in the future with no problem.

Too bad. I believe they would have had a winner with a $25k vehicle that regular folks could buy. We have enough 'premium' EVs and we are kinda running out of people that can buy them.

I've been saying for a long time that there is going to come a time when we run out of rich people that can buy an electric car. We are here now. Hopefully Tesla will be able to make a cheap car that the regular folks can buy. Maybe Model 2?

I really don't think that any filters nowadays are assembled by hand, but I don't know for sure.

Oh, makes sense then. I saw the black can cut open on the drain pan and I thought this filter came from that. I was surprised since I've never seen a regular mobil 1 filter without end caps.
