    5/40 in Ford 7.3 gas?

Mobil shows the Delvac 5/40 ESP as SN. Problems solved, except for the 40 on the end. Truck pulls a travel trailer 95% of its time.

Anyone running something other than 5/30 in the 7.3 Ford gas engine? Warranty and manual police need not reply. I have a large supply of Delvac 5/40 on hand.

    Ram 2500 6.4 vs. F-250 7.3 Gas

Personally seen many 5.7 and 6.4 Hemis have catastrophic camshaft failures, due to a poorly designed lifter.

    Oil for 2019 Duramax 2.8

This truck vents pcv into the hot side intercooler pipe. When I ran 5/M1 ESP, I didn't notice any issues. Since using Delvac ESP, I've noticed oil seepage from the intercooler pipe. Does the Delvac create more oil vapor than the M1? No clue. Could just be the accumulation of oil over time...

Which two oils would you mix ?

I keep an empty 5 quart jug that I pour leftover oil into. When it's full, I change the oil in the old Ranger with it. It is nearly full now and contains: T6, M1 ESP, M1 HM, and maybe a pint of 30 that comes with a new lawn mower.

    T6 in Duramax 2.8

I manage a fleet of vehicles that love to [censored] camshafts. Never once has oil use been raised at the dealer. With the EcoDiesel, I wonder if the original spec was MPG related...then after expensive warranty problems...they upped the weight?

    T6 in Duramax 2.8

I know it calls for Dexos2 or ACEA C3, but has anyone considered using T6? I use T6 in the 6.6 and would like to carry it across to the 2.8. I have used (and like) M1 ESP, just not the $10/quart price tag. Oil related warranty issues are not a concern. Thoughts?

    Rotella T6 870mi oil/ 6761mi eng 2015 Subaru FXT

Short OCI was done in order to gauge the sample with the tune in place. That 40 looks 30 to me and in only 870 miles. Could it have been a 20 in 1700? Who knows.
