    New FJ Cruiser

About a month ago I got a 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser. It came with the well reviewed 0w-20 oil. Toyota says 10,000 to the first oil change. I think the oil probably has a robust enough add-pack but I wonder if it is such a good idea for the first oil change. I have always done oil changes early for...

    BMW 1150RT

I am buying an 04 BMW 1150 RT with three thousand miles on it. Some questions as to which oil? 1. I understand the beemer engines do not stop using oil for about twenty thousand miles (rings seating in). Would a synthetic be appropriate now? 2. Which oil? Thanks Dave

    Brew suggestion.

I have been intrigued by the Amsoil 10-30/30 wt. It has no viscosity improvers. I really like the new Del 400 15-40 also. So, how about one gallon of the amsoil mixed with 2 gallons in my Dodge Cummins 600 HO. Thanks, Dave

    ATF+3 vs. Atf+4?

ATF+4 is pretty much a dealer item. From what I understand there is difference and it may not be a good idea to try to substitute ATF+3. Call around to your local Chrysler,Dodge and jeep, dealers for the best price.

Amsoil 15w 40 heavy duty diesel

I was looking at the Amsoil Web site and noticed they are really proud of making it clear that some of their oils are PAO. Not so with the full synthetic 15w 40. Could it be a group III oil? Thanks Dave
