CASTROL RACING 4T VS MOBILE 1 RACING 4T

I just finished reading the new Amsoil white sheet report. Naturally Amsoil was number one in the overall rating, but M1 racing 4T was number two. The Castrol oil was way down the list. Not good stuff. Confirms what I already knew. I used the M1 P/N 110 oil filter on my HOnda ST1300 with no...

CASTROL RACING 4T VS MOBILE 1 RACING 4T

Yea like Harley used to say not to use synthetic oil until they came out with their own Harley brand of semi synthetic oil. Then its okay. I even had a Harley tech tell me one time synthetic oil was too slippery and it would cause the roller rod bearings to slip on the crank shaft instead of...

CASTROL RACING 4T VS MOBILE 1 RACING 4T

Hey guys. I just purchased a new 2011 Triumph Rocket III Touring bike. 2300CC inline three cylinder engine. The transmission, clutch and engine share the same oil. I have always used M1 Racing 4T in my Honda ST1300 and M1 V-Twin in my Harley. The dealer service manager is trying to tell me...

    Delo 400LE for motorcycle?

Why not just use a MC oil such as M-1? Then you have no worries about clutches, Etc. I usually change my oil and filters on my bikes once a year. That's around 5,000 miles. Works for me. The expense of M1 is no big deal when you only change once a year. Plus I don't have to worry if the oil will...

    M-1 75/140 GEAR OIL COST

I looked at the M-1 product description sheets for both. The 75/140 product looks to be much more "Robust" than the 75/90 product. Additive package costs and base stock product costs must be higher. The 75/140 product uses "Synthetic base oils and a unique additive system including SuperSyn anti...

    M1 75/140 VS M1 75/90 GEAR OIL

Can someone here explain to me why the M1 75/140 gear oil is so much more expensive than the M1 75/90 gear oil? I've used the M1 75/90 in the LS rear axle on my 01 Dodge 2500 4X4 since I bought the truck new. I'm now at 102,000 miles. To date I've not had any problems with M1 75/90 using an LS...

    MOBILE 1 QUESTION

I tried to do a search, but could find nothing. I bought some M1 0W-20 green bottle fuel mileage oil for my 2010 Toyota Corolla. How is that oil compared to M1 5W-30 etc? My engine calls for 5W-20 oil.

    BETA RATING AN OIL FILTER

I don't have a problem with using Harley's filter, I just think there might be a better filter out there. I like M1 filters, but no listing. I don't like the pricing on Harley oil filters, real expensive. At least I would like to have a choice, rather than being held hostage by Harley. No beta...

    BETA RATING AN OIL FILTER

I'm trying to find the best oil filter I can for my 2007 Harley Davidson Twin Cam engine. HARLEY DAVIDSON ENGINE OIL QUESTION

As I am in Montana right now and they do not charge sales tax here, I just bought my V-Twin oil at Wall Mart (Where I absolutly hate to shop) for $8.42 per quart with no sales tax.
