Thanks, fellow BITOGers. Sounds like good advice.

    Voltage Stabilizer

I have a 2004 Aveo (now, no cracks - I love this little commuter) and I notice the headlamps will dim for a micro-second whenever I turn on an accessory like the rear window heater, etc or even hit the brake pedal while idling. I know these boxes are basically capacitors that store a charge and...

    Blackstone vs AVLube analysis

Far as I can tell, Avlube doesn't include a TBN with its oil analysis. [ January 11, 2005, 11:42 PM: Message edited by: 59 Vetteman ]

    Aveo ATF Query

Couldn't find either Penzoil or Quaker State multi-vehicle AFT at AutoZone, O'Reilly, Napa, or CarQuest. Did find SuperTech Multi at Wally World....hopefully this is made by Penz/Quaker. Anyone know for sure?? Thanks.

    Aveo ATF Query

Is Quaker State (Pennzoil) Multi-Vehicle ATF compatible with GM Part No. 88900925 (T-IV ATF)? My owner's manual says to use ESSO LT71141 only, while my local GM service department says to use the GM part number listed above, which is T-IV ATF (at a hefty $20 per quart)! Instead of all this...

    M1, 5W30, 6000, Aveo

Motorbike- I've gotten a 39mpg average a time or two when I kept the lead out of my foot. But I tend to drive hard. I almost bought a Kia Cinco! Had there been a Kia Dealer in this rather small town I sure would have. But I didn't want to drive 100 miles for servicing, etc.

vvk: My Aveo is automatic; gets around 34mpg; is a sedan. Despite what so many folks seem to think, I find the Aveo very peppy and strong. No problem with keeping up with interstate traffic - nor with highspeed passing. I find it roomy and comfortable. It's neither a hotrod nor a caddy, but I...

    Aftermarket Cruise Control

http://www.rostra.com/cruise-control.htm Seem to make a quality cruise - from some of the comments I've read. A fellow Aveo owner said it was a snap to install...under an hour. Cost just under $200. Might be worth a look.

My very first Report! The Molybdenum, Iron, Boron, and Silicon sure seem high. (Aveo has 10000 total miles) Any thoughts?

    Total ATF H50235/Esso LT 71141

These are the recommended AT fluids for my Chevy Aveo. I'd rather use a more readily available brand but am not knowledgable about cross-referencing. Anyone here absolutely know for sure a good alternative?
