    Speaker impedance

Not a great idea to mix and match speakers with different impedance, esp, if played at higher listening levels. The crossovers can cause instabilites in the amp and other speaker. Best practice for multiple speakers is the same impedance and similar SPL ratings to minimize this. Also, as stated...

    Ingersoll-Rand - Ultra coolant (92692292) question

As expensive as Ultra Coolant is, it pays for itself in the long run. It doesn't varnish, it doesn't gell and plug the separator and keeps the internals very clean. I've serviced IR compressors for over 15 years and nothing can touch it. So what you pay up front in coolant, you gain back plus...

    Tuff Torq K66 fluid change

Once it is warmed up it will be fine. Power Steering? If so, it will be dead slow until the oil warms. Just changed out oil on a Massey 2723 and it called for 10W30...strange...In the winter the power steering is a little slow until oil warms up.

Remote Starter Started on it's own? Awesome

Does your remote start have a "winter" mode? My GFs Mazda5 has an aftermarket remote start that has a winter mode when the start button is pressed longer than normal. When engaged, this feature starts the vehicle every couple of hours to maintain warm coolant. Feature is there for extremely cold...

Installing new brakes today...bed-in or not?

Use them gently for the first 100miles. Do a search on this site "pad bedding". SteveSRT8 posted a link on the procedure. I've used the same technique since 1989 on all my vehicles. It works.

Please tell me how to calculate compression ratio

To the OP, I'm really not sure why you are trying to figure out your compression ratio and why on earth you would want to "shim" your head...compression ratio is calculated by taking the swept volume and dividing it by the combustion chamber volume. So deck heights, gasket thickness all need to...

    1994/1995 engine in a 1992/1993

1992 was when GM introduced CPI on the 4.3 V6 and they stayed with it until 96. IIRC. So the 95 "should" work in the 92 without major issues. So long as everything gets hooked up electronically the exsisting ECU should work. GM didn't change anything for years on these engines until sequential...

    Trailer wiring....ARRRGGHHH!!!!

4 pin fine for all those functions...make sure the running lights are not hooked up to the trailer brake light circuit...if these are reversed you won't see the brake lights due to them being on the "running light" filament of the bulb...

Good oil change routine for 2013 Honda Civic EX?

Diggercivic posted a UOA with the factory fill at 7500miles...it is not sheared... http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2973985#Post2973985 Follow the MM until your powertrain warranty is up. Period. Honda knows a thing or 2 about maintaining their engines...

Oil pressure too high? Possible filter issues?

There's a lot of unanswered questions here...what is your pressure reading when hot at high rpm? I highly doubt it is above 150psi, which is probably when the by-pass opens. I did a seach and couldn't find the actual by-pass pressure of the M1 109. Im sure that you aren't there yet...

    Cadillac 4.9 spark plug replacement??

...you'll need to pull the upper engine mount and put it in the second bolt hole... These are a pain to work on other wise...Once in the proper slot they are not too bad to work on. You'll need some extension and u-joint adapters...and some bandaids when you bash your fingers...

    25mpg?

Tire diameters are basically the same as stock (-0.1mm smaller now) so speedometer is the same as before. I'm going to say the it is the extra rotational mass that is causing a decline and maybe adding some air will help. Is this mpg off one tank or have you averaged it out over several...

any decent yellow H4 bulbs out there?

...yellow can help with contrasts but you still need a properly designed fog setup. I have clear fogs on my 2012 Si and they are very effective at cutting through the fog.
