    I don't think its a exhaust manifold leak the tapping noise takes some time to go away maby 3 miles I use to have headers on a hot rod I had I know that sound this is more of a tapping noise bad lifter?

    I have a 06 ford with the 3.Liter DOHC motor I buy gas at Kroger the motor will have a pinging sound but when I use shell gas it seems to go away is this all in my head ??? Can cheap gas make your motor ping?????? thanks

    2006 mariner 3.0 motor now makes a very loud squeal when its put in any gear started as my wife had to take off fast so she would not get readended all belts are fine and only does it under load (In gear) I don't know what it could be.

    Which Synthetic Should I buy

    For Pennzoil's 20wt and 30wt oils I definitely prefer PP to PU. Great UOAs, very shear resistant and grade for grade PP is lighter with higher VIs. Plus it's usually cheaper. Compared to M1 I generally prefer PP but it depends on the grade.
