When using the same filter for a second oci, do you guys take it off and drain the oil or keep it on and use half a quart less?

I know blending oils is OK as long as they meet API requirements, but has anyone actually made a blend that they don't like? i.e. Engine noise became louder, ticking sound created, or higher revs when accelerating. Just wanted to gather some thoughts and experience.

PU uses Boron Castrol has Titanium and Calcium M1 0w-40 and T6 have more Zinc PYB is fully of Moly Which is "better" and why? Not talking about oil. Those listed are just examples of what it contains.

So I hit my 10k mi mark and drained out the M1 0w-40. It had ~3600 mi on the run. Engine still ran smooth but changed it out to officially start my 5k intervals. PU 5w-40 went in this weekend. I already noticed differences. Engine still runs smooth, obviously...but the smoothness felt...
