Well I ended up ordering the Express 7 - I liked the idea of no apps and hopefully simpler set up better. Is there any benefit to upgrading my Ethernet cable to the router? I have a flat style CAT6 right now. Also is there a benefit to running the TV off of a cable instead of WIFI?

Does either the Asus or Unifi come with a firewall? Or is that old news and replaced with something better?

If I went with a multi band setup like Mainia linked to, would I be able to connect some items to one frequency and other devices to another freq? Also, would it be better to hook the TV up to via ethernet or does it even matter?

Glad you got it sorted, but a slight correction - the wire you're referring to doesn't provide power to the oil switch, instead during low oil level (or possibly pressure) conditions, the switch grounds the coil and shuts the engine off.

I must be fortunate as many of the seals that I replace are sold as part of a bigger job and oftentimes it takes that much or more before the engine is ready to be started. I'll store that in the back of my head though.

Agreed. Compression, fuel, air and spark at the right time and she should be hitting. As many engines as this thing has seen, it's bound to have had, at least at one time or another air and compression. It sounds like it's got fuel so I guess that leaves spark eh?
