Yokahama EVS Db: As neat as asdvertised

I tend to agree as it is fitted on a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer 195/55 R15 and they are not exactly my favourote sorta rubber compound.. abit too hard for me liking.. I thing the Yokohamas AD07 are much better but then noiser but a great performer(used for "drifting")

    Anyone using Kumho 711 tires?

I basically fitted these tyres on my sister's Mitsubishi Lancer and they were fine. The tyres were pretty reasonable(cheap here in Asia) and good in performance(no track days here yeah?!) on the street. I used to use the Ecsta 712 for track use and they serve me pretty well. Go for it if you are...

    Just fitted Michelin Pilot Preceda's

I'm using them right now and they meet my expectations in the wet and dry. I'm using 195/55 R15s. The only downside to them is that they are extremely noisy mate! However, it's of little concern to me as I like the wet/dry performance. The tyre compound is slightly softer than most street tyres...

The affects of short trips on oil

Hi, if you could share your opinion. I'm in a similar situation about short trips, however, I tend to change my oil around 3000miles(Takes me about 2 and a half months, I clock alot of short trips) I'm using a 5W40 fully synth oil. Do you think this is acceptable? Thanks! Anyone else, feel free...

    New Motul 0w20 double ester

I think going for a 50-60wt oil(like FK/Thrust) would be safest.. after all, when an owner owns an Evo.. I think fuel consumption is certainly not a priority..

    Which oil for the tropics?

I agree.. I would go with the Mobil 1... I'm from Singapore too.. so far, the thinnest oil I have used was 0W30.. but nowadays, I use 5W40 to 5W50 type of oils with a drain interval of about 2500 miles(I do alot of city driving.. kinda like an urban driver)
