I own 2 Echos, curved and straight, with identical engines. I use the curved one in the cramped areas of my yard and for lawn edging, and I use the straight one in the more open areas. The straight shaft makes noticeably more torque at the head than the curved shaft.

The CTEK PRO25S ($565 ! ) looks very similar to the upcoming Odyssey 25A charger. Don't see a cooling fan. The temperature sensor is in the battery clamp. I would expect the Odyssey version to have a unique charging algorithm optimized for TPPL batteries. At the very least, charging at 14.7V...

Maybe more details will arrive later. I don't see the chargers available for sale yet on Odyssey's website. From the blurry photos it does not look like the 25A charger will have a cooling fan.

I ventured away from Knipex, and bought these 6" Keiba flat nose pliers at DRPD ($25). The nose is 4mm wide, and the jaws are smooth. The pivot joint operates smoothly after a 45 second break-in procedure. They are manufactured in Japan by Maruto, which has a history going back 100 years...
