I have a new 26HP kohler 7000 series pro, I have 5 hours on it and would like to do a oil change, all I have on hand for oil is, Amsoil 100% synthetic small engine oil10w 40 is that weight ok to run in these engines or should I go no higher then 10x 30. Thanks

I like the Valvoline high mileage oil due to the fact it has a fair bit more moly. calcium, magnesium, phosphorus boron and zinc. But it doesn't have the Dexos approved label. I want to run it in my 5.3L with about 90k kms on it. Any reason why I shouldn't run it in a chev. engine?

Thank you, I never heard or seen anything about it either until today, on another forum they were talking about mostly in the 2022 year and in the toas as well, some thought it carried over into this year. I just bought a 2023 jetta should be picking it up later this week.
