M1 AFE 0w-30. Is it all that?

" Mobil 1 0W-30 is recommended by ExxonMobil for SAE 0W-30, 5W-30 and 10W-30 applications" Seems like a broad statement to say the least. I've read their quality, builder approval and meets or exceeds stuff. https://www.mobil.com/english-us/passenger-vehicle-lube/pds/glxxmobil-1-0w30 But is...

    RTG 5w-30 4.8k mi, ‘18 3.5EB F150 with 12k

Happy enough but don't necessarily see a reason to stay with it based on base. I'll be changing at OCI of 5k regardless going forward. Pondering going M1, on the fence about 5w-30 AP or maybe even 0w-30 AFE

    07 Expo 5.4 with 130k- stay with 5w-20?

As of now she runs just fine* as a daily driver at this juncture, knock on wood. (*probably just jinxed myself) Always on 5w-20, synthetic Valvoline or Pennzoil for the last 50k at least; unknown dealer poured oil prior. She does sound slightly "ticketier" than I'd prefer. So I was thinking...

    SN+ 0w-30?

Is this out there? I've surfed around for such but haven't come up with an example of such. Heck, I can't even find the Motorcraft 0w-30 which I assume would be SN+ or B1. Application would be in a ‘18 3.5 Ecoboost F150 with around 10k on it.

    Valvoline AFS 5w-30 5k miles in ‘09 5.3 Chevy

I'm pretty sure it was this oil- container is long gone. This engine had the AFM deleted very early on and has been trouble free so far, and is now retired from towing and just does local commuting and chores as my "beater". Any thoughts about the viscosity dropping- 1% fuel dilution? There is...

2018 3.5 Eco boost cold engine rpm acceleration/deceleration rattle and viscosit

Thought I'd bring this over here for some more oil-oriented discussion, though I'm hardly knowledgeable enough about the mechanics of Fords VCT and their cam phaser design, nor oil viscosity and how that may affect things like VTC feed pressure etc etc. So yea, I'm just being a knowledge sponge...

    Yamalube 5w-30 synthetic 100 hours in F300

First Polaris run sample for me. Did Blackstones prior but really wanted more accurate fuel dilution number- but it just >5% instead of "1%" LOL Anyways, as of this oil change I went with dino Yamalube 10w-30 as per claluja's ( thanks man ðŸ‘ðŸ») suggestion to combat dilution while I look into...

    Where/how to get Polaris kits?

I've tried setting up an account through their website but have been unsuccessful. Emailed them a couple of times without reply. Seems their lab does a thorough job and reasonably priced, but I just can't get the ball rolling. Even searched on Amazon but didn't find them there! Anyone have a...

    Pre oil change UOAs

Many here do this? Sample it and wait for the results before subsequent oil change. Pros and cons? Pro- heads up if sub par performance and change oil choice accordingly. Con- need a way to extract a small sample. Others?

    Hot climate ?w-

I live in central Florida. Temps range 25* F at its very worst once a decade, and max mid 90's every summer. My '15 Acura 3.5l V6 calls for 0w-20. Do I really need to use 0w- just in case it were to dip to MINUS freaking 22F or whatever, as if? LOL Or for any other reasons? In other words...

    ‘18 3.5 EcoBoost recommendation

One of my first few posts - fairly long time lurker/surfer here...Ž My new F150 has the 3.5tt, and it is my first turbo vehicle ever, and I'm loving it. 7k on odo, just did second change. However in decades of various naturally aspirated vehicles from many Japanese I4s and V6s and many...
