New rotors and pads. I bed them in, and it's during a drive. Quiet when braking.

Lubed the pins, I installed thermoquiets by Wagner and read it wasn't necessary (special coating on them?). I can definitely try that.

Hey all! Did the rotors and pads on my Venza and all went well, at least I think it did. I hear a squeek when driving. Not sure what it could be. Any suggestions? Adding I did the front and rear. Checked all the rotors and don't see anything indicating a surface is being scored by anything...

    Small Truck Segment (Colorado/Tacoma etc)

All valid points by everyone. Definitely a case of to much truck for most people but without a price difference many or ole like myself would be ushered into a larger truck than necessary due to cost.

Haven't heard anything about the scrambler, I'm on the Maserati side of the business and only hear about Maserati things. We work shoulder to shoulder next to Ferrari and I hear nothing about Ferrari stuff. But that does look intriguing.

Hey all, Thinking about getting a truck in the next 12+ months. I am an FCA employee and can get 5% under invoice on our product umbrella (Ram, Jeep, etc), but not sure about getting a full size pickup (beyond what I may want/need). So I was looking at the small trucks like the Colorado and...

    Ford Sales

While their vehicles look nice, both mine and my wife's experience with several dealers and Ford Corporate themselves have put us off from the brand. Once her lease on the Fusion is up she is going to look else where. Granted they have some truly stellar looking products that serve many people...

    Oil at Walmart

Almost got screwed when buying a clay bar kit. Picked up the box, walked around to check out and inspected the box while on line. Noticed it wasn't very heavy, as a package with a bar should be. Opened it and sure enough no clay bar. Left the line, went back to the isle and checked the other 6...

Under the valve cover 05 Scion tC, 155K Miles

Must be a hit or miss issue. When i Had my 08 TC, did not have issues with oil burning even with some high rpm shifts. Maybe something that creeps up in the upper mileage brackets?

    What, No Traction Control ??!!!

for me at least, TC has been something i disabled. My experience is that from a standing start it actually impedes your ability to get out of a rut, and into turns it apparently does the same. Also at least with my GM vehicle's I've always had issues with them needing service or complaining...

Toyota Venza FWD 4 cyl any thoughts ?

I have the AWD version with the 4 in it and its plenty sufficient for driving with multiple passengers, accelerating ECT. My only qualm is the 4 really doesn't get any better mpg than the 6. Adding, I do my oil changes at 5k, given I no longer do extensive commuting. If you do a good bit of...
