Poor looking filter IMO. Strange this same filter model and manufacturing plant, used for similar miles in 06 Civic can look so different. My past filters though were 2010 or earlier date codes, and used over a longer periods (short trips) had relatively straight pleats.

This filter model had one reported failure, not one of the real problem models. Based on my experience with multiple PL10241's, I would be checking these. I no longer use the 10241 in my vehicles.
