    Euro vs Extended Performance Syntetics

From what I’ve been reading, the Euro formulas are more robust vs. the regular synthetics. How do the Euro formulas compare to the Extended Performance formulas? I know that I would never do 20k mi. OCI’s, but which one would protect against engine wear better even at low mileage, once a year...

Teaching my nephews maintenance on their used 2011 Civic

Yeah I’ve done that too in the past. Not good… Recently, I just returned a counterfeit Ford Racing Oil Filter to Amazon. Bought a K&N from my local AutoZone instead.

Is Peak Asian blue coolant the same as SuperTech blue?

Are these the same? I see Peak’s says “silicate free”

Teaching my nephews maintenance on their used 2011 Civic

You don’t think the Maxlife would be good in the Civic? It’s only 3 quarts so maybe we’ll have to go to the Honda dealership. I’ve been using it in our 3 Pontiac Vibes at every 30k and no issues, but these are Toyota transmissions… I agree with the NGK & Denso iridium plugs for sure and never...

Teaching my nephews maintenance on their used 2011 Civic

So I have my nephews coming over with their recently acquired 2011 Civic LX. It has over 100k and we don’t have much information aside from some previous oil changes. I want to show them how to do a full tune up and all filters/fluids changed. I’ll be taking them to Walmart and the local auto...

Is the Ford Racing M6731FL820 worth buying over the Motorcraft FL820S?

Yes the outer shell/can is different for sure. Smooth all around. So Purolator makes the Motorcraft? I wonder who makes the original Ford Racing one?

Is the Ford Racing M6731FL820 worth buying over the Motorcraft FL820S?

Update y’all! Unfortunately, the one I received from Amazon seller “Purely Power Sports” doesn’t look like the authentic Ford Racing filter so I’m returning it. You can clearly see it’s just a reclothed Motorcraft. Also, look at the last pic with the authentic one. It has 8 round oil flow holes...

Small block Ford pushrod engine 1/2 quart overfill

Wasn’t intentional. It’s got a Canton 7-quart road race pan that was modified to have the clutch cable go through the T-sump. I remember reading somewhere to use 1/2 a quart less. But my memory was too late I already dumped the 7 quarts in it 😭🤦🏻‍♂️

Small block Ford pushrod engine 1/2 quart overfill

Anyone have any issues overfilling 1/2 a quart in their old school Ford 5.0’s?

    Good Toyota Video/Info! I’ll stick to my 5k OCI’s

This is one really good mechanic I follow. Just wanted to share this video with y’all. I know there are a lot of 10k, 20k mi. synthetics out there nowadays, but who the hell would do that to their cars anyways? Jeez how lazy can one be? Oil changes are easy and very cheap to do on your own...
