I just changed my grandpas oil in his 2020 Ram and it calls for 5w-20.

Less than one year old Honda push mower won't start this season

That’s crazy. I’ve had my GCV160 for coming up on 9 years and it’s always been a 1-2 pull starting push mower. Never had a single problem out of it except one time it was surging after starting. Put a little sea foam in the gas and halfway through the back yard it cleared up instantly. I guess...

Some pics from the lawnmower department

I was just in Home Depot this evening and they had more electric push mowers than gas powered ones. And not one with a Honda engine, all cheaper Briggs.

    Harbor Freight(Pittsburgh) compact tire inflator

I have one of these in my car, along with an Amazon lithium car jumper battery pack. I’ve used them both extensively, both work really well. The battery pack has an adapter for a 12v cigarette adapter so I can use it anywhere. Funny thing is I’ve used it on everyone else’s cars except my own.

    2016 Trax, replaced valve cover.

I figured it would be clean since we’ve had the car since new but you never know I suppose. When looking up the torque and sequence specs for the valve cover I ran across a video showing it. This was under his valve cover. Needless to say I feel really good about how ours looks.

    2016 Trax, replaced valve cover.

The turbo itself has been ok. We’ve had a coolant leak in the past. See above for more details. Also the purge valve (canister design) had gone bad. It was an original Bosch part replaced with same one. Went bad a again about a year later. Replaced under warranty but now it’s a no name part...

    2016 Trax, replaced valve cover.

She likes it. I knew it was going to be too small when she bought it but it’s what she wanted. It’s a lower end LT model I think we paid around 18 for it brand new. It’s had a few issues along the way. Worst thing was 2-3 years ago the turbo had a coolant leak. I was less inclined to work on my...

    2016 Trax, replaced valve cover.

I did check and the valve is intact. It was dirty as hell but using a q tip I was able to wipe the dirt away and see it. I dread the day I have to replace the intake. I might do the aftermarket mod and just bypass it altogether.

    2016 Trax, replaced valve cover.

There really is no fix other than to bypass the system altogether by modding the intake. A doorman was the only one I could get my hands on quick. Drove yesterday and today and no leaks and pcv system is working correctly.

    2016 Trax, replaced valve cover.

I just had to replace the valve cover my wife’s 2016 Chevy Trax due to the horrible PCV design. Here’s a peek into the engine as I pulled off the cover. It has 113k miles with 5-6k synthetic oil changes. Since around 70 or 80k it’s been fed a steady diet of Rotella gas truck 5w-30. Not exactly...

    Pressure washer upgrade

Just for around the house. I don’t mind paying more for a better unit. My driveway and sides of the house can be a bear and my current washer doesn’t do that great, even with Zepp cleaner.

    Pressure washer upgrade

Good evening everyone. I’m looking to upgrade to a more powerful pressure washer. I currently have have an older Troy Bilt 2800 psi 2.3 gpm with a Briggs 675 that I bought about 8 years ago used from a guy off Craigslist. Nothing wrong with it at all, just want something more powerful. Anybody...
