My kohler gets the most use about 60 to 70 hrs a year, in lawn tractor. I change it after about 30 hours , half season, and check in between. The 2 tecumsehs and 2 honda engines get used at most 12 to 20 hours a year, change once a year. Always check and top off if needed. None of my machines...

I use any store brand synthetic pep boys etc. In my Honda generator. It runs 6 hours a year for once a month test. Maybe 10 to 20 hrs for power failure. So 26 hrs max, then you change it at 1 year. Unless you use it everyday on a job site then keep it cheap... however some synthetics go on sale...

I just sold a Honda 250 that took 10-40 Dino m c oil, Castrol I think. My 3 garden engines takes 10-30. Is the 10-40 m c oil going to cause any problems? I use synthetic in my other bike so I have no need for it. I'm guessing small engines are more forgiving than our sophisticated car engines.

Hey I would grab the Stanley set at the price. I'm a home mechanic not a pro. I have fallen in love with Husky tools from home depot but, I doubt they have a set like that for that price. Stick with what works.

Ok ... so that's what I was trying to get away from... but, whatever works!

and its very much quieter. At the box when closed it 75+ decibles. At the closest point of my house about 65 db. Inside the house you can hardly hear it. At my closest neighbor it's 60 db. Just about the ambient decibel.

So george you were right to call out the ventilation based on that first picture. Here's some better ones for those that are interested. The fans and vents keep the temperature between 85 to 110 when its all closed up. No more than a hot summer day.
