Snapper commercial owners - handle question

Briggs & Stratton is shutting down Snapper and Simplicity. Yeah the guy in the video is a little goofy but puts out good info.

Owner of a Ram TRX decides they've had enough of Burning Man, leaves with camper.

From what I can find it's $575 for a individual event pass and $150 for a vehicle pass. https://burningman.org/events/main-sale-starts/ I'm glad the fellow with the Dodge got out of there, my worst nightmare would be stuck in the desert with 80,000 hippies that haven't showered for a week and...

What's better for storage - Sta-Bil or seafoam?

Many Sheetz sell it here in Ohio, here is a list of the ones that carry it. https://www.sheetz.com/ethanolfree I'm in Tuscarawas Co and many stations around here carry it, Sheetz, Marathon, and Circle K, I think the reason is all the lakes that are close by and many people run it in boats. I can...

Here is why I wouldn't buy a new "budget" bike.

If you know of someplace selling new H2's for $18.5 fill me in, they really start at $30.5k and bare bones ZX10r's start at $17.2k. My Kawasaki's are holding up quite well. This is my 2001 ZRX that I bought new and still own with just around 52,000 miles currently. My 78 KZ650sr my mom...

    Right angle electric ratchet

I Have owned the Makita 12V version for over 3 years now and enjoy using it. A big plus is it comes with both 1/4 & 3/8" anvils so no need to purchase 2 different ones, I feel 1/2" drive would be about useless in a cordless ratchet.

How do you store your socket sets?

I use a combination of Hansen trays and other various magnetic rails. I really like the Hansen 3 row models in 1/4 & 3/8" drive because I have mid-depths in both of those sizes. Some people really like the Koken magnetic rails the come with their Z series sockets, you can buy these exact same...

Craftsman Push Mower Starts and Stalls

I had a similar problem with a old Tecumseh powered snow thrower, the problem turned out to be the gas cap was not venting and then starving the motor of fuel. To solve I started to put the gas cap on loosely and never had a issue with it again.

    Goodyear's reputation

How about Indy F1 2005 when Michelin cars were not permitted to compete because their tires only lasted 10 laps? In 2008 Rossi ran Bridestone tires on his Yamaha while his teammate ran Michelins, Rossi won the championship and Lorenzo finished 4th. Most people think Michelins are great, I...

    Magnetic sockets?

Another vote for the Koken models, they only thing I don't like about them are the cheap rails they come with.

    Orange sludge in radiator

If I was doing the job I would use a power flush gun to try and get all the gunk out. https://www.amazon.com/OTC-6043-Blast-Vac-Multipurpose-Cleaning/dp/B000F5ECRW It looks like it worked well for Eric O in this old Pontiac.

The F-16 is in the news lately. Here is one loaded for bear.

True story, I was in VF-126 NAS Miramar 88-92, every one of our F-16N's (along with TopGuns) was grounded do to overstressed airframes in 1991.

    Drive type, does it matter?

When it comes to replacing a drive belt, the process usually entails removing the swingarm. This is usually not a speedy process.

    Drive type, does it matter?

The real answer is for quick/easy gearing changes. There are many more manufactures of sprockets V the Cog wheels that belts use.

Craftsman X-Tract Technology™ Hex Bit Sockets

Good find! I've never seen them in the Proto brand before. My Mac man lives across the street from me though and it's never a issue for me to get stuff replaced from him.

Craftsman X-Tract Technology™ Hex Bit Sockets

^ Good advice from Mr Critic but you might notice in other brands (including Proto) they stop at the 10mm size. I regally use them in sizes larger then that and that is the reason I went with the Macs.

Craftsman X-Tract Technology™ Hex Bit Sockets

I own the Mac RBRT versions, if you folks think $70 is expensive for the Craftsman set don't bother looking at the Mac or Proto versions. I use them for motorcycle work where the bike I'm working on may have been crashed or the owner may have tried to use a SAE sized tool to work on a metric...
