    Oil extractor longer hose

Read my note in bold. Reports on the audi forums of the tubes warping and getting stuck. Not something I want to risk. I could just drain from below like the old school, but removing the pan is sort of tedious on the B8 audi's - there are a dozen screws, and torx nuts. Takes almost as much time...

    Oil extractor longer hose

Hi all- I have the 6.5L Schwaben extractor. On my Audi it does seem the extension tubes are not long enough to hit the bottom of the oil pan. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-schwaben-parts/65-liter-fluid-extractor/011885sch01a/ It lists the extension tubes as Two 35" extension tubes 1/4" and...

Reasonable price oil with good shearing resistance?

When pushing the turbo is going to heat up higher than someone in Canada...and the cooldown period is going to be longer- more time for the oil to bake. In the summer it can take 4-5hours before the cat is cool enough to touch to the hand. In the winter its half that.

Reasonable price oil with good shearing resistance?

For a DI engine I would definitely like to monitor the level of fuel in my oil - one reason is common injector leakage. I dont want to wash my cylinder walls and plan to do a OA every other oil change. What other services do a better job at OA and fuel measurement?

Reasonable price oil with good shearing resistance?

That OA was from blackstone. So for all the 502 oils, there's so many to pick from... For my EA888 2.0TFSI that is running Stage 1 tune, everything else stock, what would you guys suggest I run knowing I am not in a cold climate?

Reasonable price oil with good shearing resistance?

Ok then which of the approved oils will shear the least then? No fuel dilution in the sample.

Reasonable price oil with good shearing resistance?

This is for an Audi 2.0TFSI / EA888, so DI engine. Just want to pick the right oil for a 4-5k OCI

Reasonable price oil with good shearing resistance?

So after looking at my M1 0-40 OA results I do see it shearing down to a 30w oil… Others suggest running Driven DI40 but at $15/qt, is there something else in the middle that’s a little more affordable yet performs better than M1 and can resist shearing down to a 30w oil? Here in PHX with...

One oil for both my cars?

Would you guys prefer to buy a lower NOACK oil (DI40) or just stick with M1 0-40 and change it more frequently?

One oil for both my cars?

Ok great thanks! I’ll just keep the OCI at 4-5k on the Turbo DI, and 10k on the MB.

One oil for both my cars?

That is the European formula correct? So basically what I am already using? I’ve also noted my Walmart has carried the euro 5w40 recently. Being in Arizona hot climate should I consider using that at all? Any real difference?

One oil for both my cars?

I have a 2008 E350 N/A V6 that I have always used M1 0-40 on forever. OA shows essential zero wear at all at 160k. I also have a 2016 Audi Allroad (EA888 gen2) that just ended Dealer AudiCare. Turbo DI. Is there a good oil that would satisfy both vehicles or should I separate?
