Today's salvage vehicle- stolen 2014 FORD SUPER DUTY F-350 SRW RWD

Mileage is under 10K a year. With those tires and rims, I'm betting it towed a camper with the fifth wheel.

Lastest auction purchase, 2005 Pontiac Vibe

My parents had a 05 Vibe with the manual transmission. That vehicle might go forever. It had 260K on it when it was given to a family friend. It's still going strong. Excellent car!

    2014 Nissan Altima

I had an 09 Versa with a CVT that went out. The first signs were a whining noise, like the vehicle was low on power steering fluid. I bought the car at 45K, changed the CVT Fluid at 60K with Castrol CVT Fluid. When I heard the whine, I changed it again. Trans died at 110K.

Can you help me better understand why women want a SUV over a sedan?

Another data point for ride height. Other preferences include AWD, Rear DVD, Power liftgate for easy loading, cargo room, third row seat. She will never understand how long it takes to cool that hotbox on a hot summer day.

    Car Wash season and products

I tried out SudsLab wheel cleaner this evening. This is a non-acid wheel cleaner. I decided to try after seeing a couple of reviews on YouTube. And I go through wheel cleaner quickly. It seems to work well. It's supposed to be spray and rinse. But I used a wheel brush. It doesn't foam, and...

    Turtle Wax Minute Wax

I used the Minute Wax while wet after a wash yesterday. It worked really well, and left the finish very slick. I look forward to applying it to a dry vehicle as well.

    Car Wash season and products

It's almost that time for me. I've been looking forward to washing and applying protection to my vehicles since it was too cold to do it. Anybody starting with brand new products this year? What do you plan on using? I thought about trying out Suds Lab, but I'm not so sure now since I've seen...

    BIG mid-sized SUV knowledge

We have a 2018 Nissan Armada. I was trying to steer my wife towards the Pilot, but no luck. Issues - Replaced the Brake Switch 3 times, knock on wood, we haven't had problems with that in a while. Easy to replace, but a pain. -People report issues with the "Smart Alternator". I haven't had...

    4.5 B&S diagnose

Will you please help me diagnose this problem? The lawnmower acts like the jet is clogged. I take it out and clean it, and it runs for about 15 minutes. Then it acts like it runs out of gas. I hit the primer button, and the it runs to two seconds and dies, like the jet is clogged again. Somehow...

Collinite 845 Insulator and Turtle Wax Seal and Shine

My last application of S&S was before the 4th of July. This was taken a couple of days ago after a rain. I'm going by feeling the slickness at this point. Once that starts going downhill, I will add another coat after a wash.

    Double Bucket Overrated?

I use one bucket and a grout sponge with Meguiars Gold Class. I've tried microfibers and they seem to hold on to the dirt more than the grout sponge. The grout sponge is easily rinsed.
