    2016 Audi S3 - EA888 Gen 3 - Factory Fill - 2007mi

Below is the UOA for my 2016 Audi S3 with the EA888 Gen 3 TFSI engine. This is still the factory fill with 2007 miles on it. I may change it out prior to the 5k service. I assume it was filled with Castrol 5w40 OE oil. Lab was Polaris Labs

2006 VW GTI MkV (2.0T FSI) RLI 5w40

Oh yeah, idk if this matter at all but this is the first time the oil sample was taken during oil draining, mid drain. I waited a few seconds then filled the oil sample bottle. All the other UOA samples were taken via suction method and do not know if the hose was too long, may have been.

2006 VW GTI MkV (2.0T FSI) RLI 5w40

The fuel pump on mine is the old banjo style and is a [censored] to get off. Cam follower was inspected after the Dyson analysis and was fine as well as the cam. I will be running a few more runs on it to see how it goes keeping it around 5k mark. I will be sending a sample after 2-3k to both...

2006 VW GTI MkV (2.0T FSI) RLI 5w40

The oil used before this, Pento, was used after a run of RLI but did not test that oil sample and thus i thought the Cu came from some left over RLI in the system. 16 ppm could be in the +/- range for labs as i have seen some results vary from test to test...The PCV is running fine and the DV is...

2006 VW GTI MkV (2.0T FSI) RLI 5w40

I will use RLI for 2 more cycles. I know copper is in the add pack, this batch when a VOA was done came to be 70 PPM, thus leaving apx 16 ppm of wear, now this could be in the error zone but was wondering as a wear metal were could copper come from. The Fe is typical for this motor, and yes I am...

2006 VW GTI MkV (2.0T FSI) RLI 5w40

This is the first run of RLI 5w40 oil that is tested. On the next fill currently. Below is Blackstone report Below is my excel sheet of all the samples taken so far. This sample is on the far right, for Cu 70 ppm was removed as the oil org came with 70 ppm Cu. Where could the Cu be...

FSI Engines - Audi RS4 Engine Oil-Related Deposits

As long as you do not have any air that is not metered by the mass air flow you will be fine. Just have to block off the rear PCV where it goes to the intake. Just have to make sure you have no vac leak and you will not throw a code.

FSI Engines - Audi RS4 Engine Oil-Related Deposits

Which is what i will be doing soon :) Once a vented catch can comes out that I like and I get my tax refund. I also use to have a paper that was on FSI motors were they put a hole in the side of the cylinder wall and put a clear cover over it and had high speed camera video tape the combustion...

23 UOAs database for audi/VW 2.0l FSI turbo

I send him a few UOA that i had for my GTI. One thing you to keep in mind is that it is a Iron block and is not all that uncommon to see elevated Fe numbers on VW/Audi motors. To what level is this normal I could not tell you positively. But, i am running RLI full time now. On my 2ed run of it...

    RLI 5w40 Batch: 1032DMOD-121908

Silicon can be used as a anti-foaming agent in oil and lead can also be used as a additive in low levels. Also the viscosity is correct for the application it was crated for which was for the Audi engine, this is being used in a VW 2.0T FSI motor and the mid SAE 40 weight is correct for the...

VOA from UG_Passat (Dyson, Blackstone, and Oil Analyzers Inc.) His VOA are from batch 10320-100408. So the oil that i tested was made about 2 months after his. (Last set of numbers is the date) https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/rli-biosyn-hd-shp-5w40.96795/ The Dyson showed 300 ppm of...

RLI is pretty much that formula in that patent I am pretty sure as it is a low volatility and low intake valve deposit.

FSI Engines - Audi RS4 Engine Oil-Related Deposits

How would you vent to the atm when the PCV is a closed system? Would you just have to run a secondary pump to keep the crankcase under vacuum. Also I will be interested to see how RLI helps with lower deposits.

RLI + FSI (VW 2.0T Motors) + Fe Wear Quest.

I have seen UG_Passat's but going through alot of threats saw that some people were going to start using it. Trying to compile info if the stuff is actually working in our motors. It seems like the cam follower issue that is in the FSI motor comes down to a oil issue. The follower does not...
