    New SP GTX 20-W50

Yeah, i could do that, it just doesn't burn or leak barely any oil since i did the valve stem seals so i barely ever have to top it up , i just recently took it on a road trip and did about 1200 miles , at times getting it up to 100-110mph and it didn't use a drop, and that oil already had...

    New SP GTX 20-W50

Just bought some of the new API SP GTX for the Capri, let's see how it goes, the oil in it right now is a mix of Repsol synthetic blend 20w50 and Mobil 1 5w50 but it's been over a year and i want to change it. This is also a synthetic blend.

What are you doing right now?

The old girl is finally ready, chuffed! But i am going to have to change the oil as it stinks of gas, they've moved it around the shop a lot so a lot of cold starts with the automatic choke on meaning a lot of fuel dilution.

And for example i am from Finland, there until recently you could not even buy beer in supermarkets, now you can but only beer. ID for buying Booze

I always think it's funny how in the USA they ask you for your id anywhere when buying alcohol even if you are obviously +21. Here in Spain you can even buy alcohol in the self check out area of supermarkets and nobody asks for Id's , the attendant at the self check out just looks at you and...

    Rubber flake in oil

Once i was checking the valve clearances on my 1975 Ford Capri and upon removing the drivers side valve cover i found a piece of duct tape in there, small, about maybe an inch square, no idea how it got in there as it was not the first time i did a valve adjustment, i do it every other year.

Finally, proof for the 5K mile oil change, or something to laugh at/BITOG fodder

Over here 10-15k kms or 6-9k miles is the norm and has been for years, many modern cars allow for 20k / 2 years, i would not go over 15k km in any car personally.
